Week 6 Review

Last week monday was the first day back at school from lockdown! I was super excited to go back to class and see my friends! I think I did a pretty good transition from staying at home for 6 weeks to coming back to school after 6 weeks. Doing work at home was a bit different for me since I have never experienced something like that but I did ok since it was my own environment and I had a lot of help from my siblings. Last week I think I did pretty well with my work, I didn't get to complete all of it but I did a pretty good job. I really liked doing typing club because I was coming 1st on the class scoreboard so I was happy about that. I was a bit mad at myself for not finishing the whole tracking sheet but this week im hoping that I do. Not much things bothered me while doing my work last week, I did pretty well with maths and being able to understand what i'm actually doing. But I am really proud of myself during PE because I was actually trying to participate and I got my first goal in 4 corner soccer! My aim for this week is to finish all of my work and to get my goals in soccer.

This is a image of my Prime maths book which I am proud of finishing because they were a bit hard and I couldn't understand how to work it out but I finished it in the end!

My Media Attribution Project!

We are learning about Media Attribution which is about Copy right and Fair use of other people's work and the internet! I enjoyed the fact that it was about animals because I absolutely adore animals and any sort of creatures! I found it challenging to make my own drawing of a penguin! My project includes photos of penguins, a super cute video of a penguin, the website where I got every thing from and lastly my own drawing of a Penguin! If there was something I would change next time, I wouldn't change a thing! So thank you for looking at my blog post! Here is my project!

About Me!

Hola, My name is Naomi and I am ten years old. I am a student at Te Hapara School and I am one of the smartest in my class! I have 7 siblings and I am the youngest. I was born on the 11th of March 2009 and I was born in Gisborne. My mum was born in Wellington and I do not know where my dad was born. I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

My Goal is to be good at maths and to not be dumb!  I enjoy this new thing we are doing, called……… The Island! There is this secret island where the people from Pre. H  Park Cooperation are trying to bring Dinosaurs back! Since I am a year 6, for math I am on the stage 6 and early stage 7. I am very clever for my age. In term 1 my goal for school was to become the Kaea for Kapa Haka. But now since it is coming to the end of the year my goal is to learn some more Algebra and Decimals which is something that sinks into my learning.

This year I am looking forward to my year 6 sleepover at the end of the year and also I am looking forward to my patrol swimming day! My goal that I achieved this year was to become the Kaea for Kapa Haka! People that inspire me is……… BTS! They are so inspirational to me because of there music and all the stuff they do! My personal
achievements are to meet BTS before I am 20 and also to travel to 5 places before I am 17! Out of New Zealand!
